Heaven forbid they do the right thing for their pocketbook or the earth!

I have to chuckle about how people are sometimes defensive about "doing the right thing" -- the thing that makes sense for quantifiable as well as quality of life reasons.  How have we come to this?  Isn't common sense common any longer?  Don't people realize that green makes SENSE !?@#Q? 

Green is about long term common sense as well as current comfort levels and reduced expenses and reduced drag on our communities' utility infrastructure.  Savings are a good thing!  Be proud that you have some common sense that outweighs your green and stupidity.  I know I'm proud of you for it! :-)
